It’s not a surprise that Lego and Fortnite make a great team. The combination of Lego’s building creativity and Fortnite’s expansive world fits together perfectly and creates a fun and easy-to-learn survival game. But is Lego Fortnite still worth playing today? Let’s find out.

What is Lego Fortnite?

Lego Fortnite is basically a minecraft theme that has lego characters and blocks. It is a game where you chop down trees, collect rocks, build tools, and explore different places to find new stuff. You can also play alone or with friends, no matter what device they’re using. 

However, unlike minecraft, Lego Fortnite focuses on building a village. As you play, new logo characters based on popular Fortnite skins will want to join your town. If you have enough space, you can also invite them to stay and ask for help, or might as well go on adventures with them. It is a great way to feel less lonely, even if you’re playing alone. 

Only one big difference between Minecraft and Lego Fortnite is the visual style and building mechanics. In Minecraft, you use digital blocks. But here in Lego Fortnite, you can actually build a whole village with real lego bricks. 

I like this game because it gives you ready made buildings, but you have to build them yourself brick by brick just like a lego set. It’s very exciting and engaging because it helps you become more creative while having fun building with those houses. 

Build, Explore, Conquer

Lego Fortnite requires you to spend a lot of time collecting materials and making things to unlock new features. However, some younger players might find this really hard to upgrade their villages, but surely many other players will enjoy spending hours building their desired things, and exploring different worlds. 

Lego Fortnite gives a lot of helpful friends. Many survival games let you play with other people but Lego Fortnite makes it a big part of the game. Also it supports multiplayer sessions up to eight players in total. This means that you can team up with up to seven friends working to build and survive the world. 

Fighting in Lego Fortnite is quite similar to Minecraft. You mostly swing your sword and block attacks with a shield. You can also do rolling and dodging. Lego Fortnite makes a fighting scene easier by having a friend with you. 

If they die, they could come back again, but they lose their stuff. But if you die, you’ll lose your stuff where you died. But it is usually easy to go back and get it since the maps are big. 

A Free and Fun Building Experience

But, what I appreciate about this game is that the Lego Fortnite is free. You don’t have to pay anything. You can just download Fortnite and start playing Lego Fortnite in just a minute. 

Even though Epic wants to pay their players for skins, it doesn’t mean it is necessary because you can still enjoy it by spending a lot more time building and exploring without ever buying anything. 

One thing I love about Lego Fortnite is that you can even earn points in Fortnite’s battle pass by playing it. That means you might get some special currency while you’re collecting wood. Additionally, you can use Fortnite characters in Lego Fortnite. 

So, Is Lego Fortnite Still Good?

To answer this shortly, Yes. Lego Fortnite is still good. You can spend a lot of hours exploring, fighting and enjoying it with your friends, but given that it is free to play, you can do a lot of things because it is still as good as many other paid survival games. 

There are two ways to play Lego Fortnite, either you join the world where you focus on building and exploring, or join a world where you focus on growing your village and avoiding dangers. 

This is quite different from the other games but I still believe that Lego Fortnite will continue to develop more in the future. But for now, it is very addictive especially when you’re a casual player. However, Lego is for everyone. If you’re wondering if it is good for the kids, I think it is a great game for them to play.
