Battle Basics: Core Gameplay Explained

League of Legends Battle of Koeshin puts you in control of two champions: Xin Zhao and Yunara. You can freely swap between them during combat, which might be needed for certain strategies and situations. Another note; repeating the same attack within your last eight moves reduces Style Point gains by 50% per repetition. That means that as much as possible, you should mix up your combat strategies constantly.

Once you reach S+ rank, the League of Legends Battle of Koeshin metagame reveals its most powerful feature: Spirit Assists. These spirits cast devastating attacks that can turn the tide of any battle.

You summon spirits in a rotating cycle, ensuring variety in your abilities:

Karma (Soulflare): Fires a bolt from the sky, damaging and launching nearby enemies
Kayle (Divine Judgment): Grants temporary invulnerability that damages enemies when it expires
Irelia (Bladesurge): Dashes through all on-screen enemies, freezing and knocking them back
Zed (Living Shadows): Creates shadow clones that throw shurikens in your attack direction

Summoning a Spirit Assist immediately resets your Style Rank to zero, so timing becomes crucial for maximum effectiveness.

When you finish the three-stage Story Mode journey, you automatically receive two unique summoner icons:
