Evermoon seals are collectibles that were recently added to Genshin Impact in the Nod-Krai Lands. There are 9 total seals (3 from each Island: Hiisi Island, Lempo Island, and Paha Island). When a player collects and claims 3 seals from the same island, they lift the barrier that is covering the hidden treasure vault for that island. Treasure vaults have elite rewards in them, such as 5-star artifacts and Dust of Enlightenment.
How to Get Evermoon Seals

Evermoon Seals are not fixed spawns and are random rewards from opening the Luxurious Chest or Precious Chest types in Nod-Krai. These types of chests can spawn during exploration of the world, from guarding enemies, from puzzles, and from certain rewards for quests. While there is a very small chance for one to drop into an Evermoon Seal when you open these chests it is never guaranteed.
The Precious Chests and Luxurious Chests (including quest chests, puzzle chests) for Hiisi and Lempo will drop the Evermoon Seals respective to either island. The same situation is true for Paha Island. The seals from the chests drop randomly regardless of a world puzzle that needs to be done or guarding enemy drops.
Vault Location & How to Use the Seals
Each island has a unique vault entrance, with different landscape and transit characteristics:

On Hiisi Island, you start at the southeast teleport waypoint up above where the Statue of the New Moon is situated. Head southeast all the way until you find a cliff, descend from that cliff, and you will see a cave on the cliffside. There is a sand path leading into the cave entrance. At that entrance, use the three Hiisi Seals to void the barrier.

At Lempo Isle, teleport to the waypoint on the west side of Nasha Town that places you in the air. From there, you’ll drop down from where you are to a building, walk to the place designated by the yellow arrow, and walk even further into the building and in front of the “The Flagship” you’ll find an elevator that leads to the lower deck. The vault is located on that level and you’ll need to insert all three Lempo Seals to unlock the vault.

Once you reach Paha Isle, start from the teleport waypoint near the Final Night Cemetery. Head southwest toward the greater main part of the isle, following waterways, until you come to a massive red force wall in front of a cave entrance. You’ll need Kuuvahki energy to break that red wall. After you break that wall you can put in your three Paha Seals to unlock the vaults inside.
The vaults offer a ton of rewards including 5-star artifact pieces, Mora, character experience, and one Dust of Enlightenment that many find extremely valuable to re-roll your artifact stats.
Optimisation Tips and Common Pitfalls
Make sure to open all of the Precious and Luxurious Chests that are accessible to you on each island, especially any that are associated with puzzles and quests, as seals are random and can be in any of those chests.
Unlocking teleport waypoints near the vault locations saves travel time significantly. Even though it is possible to get back to where you were if you mis-time a glide or miss a cliff path.
On Paha Isle, take the time to make sure you have access to Kuuvahki energy first, as you will need the red force-field barrier and will not be able to bypass the barrier without it.
Conclusion
Evermoon Seals add an interesting layer of exploration in Nod-Krai. Players who seek the best artifacts and the Dust of Enlightenment while getting the full experience in the content of Nod-Krai should seek to find three seals per island with the goal to unlock all vaults. The random drop of the seals may seem like it will take a long time to accomplish but understanding where the vaults are, and knowing how to unlock them with the associated mechanics (mainly the Kuuvahki energy), may allow players to loot the vaults sooner than they would if it was just a standard search on top of the seals.
