How to Get the Tempest Blueprint in ARC Raiders

fragster James Steward 26. December 2025

The Tempest Blueprint is one of the more sought-after schematics in ARC Raiders. It unlocks the Tempest assault rifle, an epic-rarity weapon used for dealing heavy damage to both hostile Raiders and ARCs. While the weapon is strong, getting the blueprint is not simple and mostly depends on RNG.

This guide explains what the Tempest Blueprint is, where it can drop, and how players are farming it efficiently, mainly through Buried City Night Raids.

What Is the Tempest Blueprint?

The Tempest Blueprint is a rare schematic item that permanently unlocks the Tempest assault rifle once learned. Unlike some weapons that are tied to limited events or missions, this blueprint:

  • Is not a quest reward
  • Has no guaranteed spawn
  • Comes from the randomized loot pool

After extracting with the blueprint, players must learn and consume it from the stash. Once done, Tempest becomes available as a craftable weapon at a Gunsmith Level 3 workshop, using materials like Medium Gun Parts, Magnetic Accelerators, and Exodus Modules.

Where the Tempest Blueprint Can Drop

Randomized Loot Pool

The Tempest Blueprint is not located in one certain spot. It is to be found in a number of high-tier containers on different maps, which are the following:

  • Weapon cases
  • Security Breach lockers
  • Raider caches

  • Lockers, drawers, and cabinets
  • Puzzle or breach rooms

Night Raids have very nice drop chances, which is the one thing most players agree on. During daytime raids, the blueprint is said to be very rare, or rather, almost never seen, in many reports.

Best Farming Strategy: Buried City Night Raid

Although there are other maps where the blueprint can spawn during Night Raids, Buried City remains the best choice due to the high number of lootable containers.

Key Locations in Buried City

Night Raid areas to focus on are:

  • Grandioso Apartments: Two identical buildings characterized by having several floors. After looting every drawer and cabinet, cross the bridge and do the same in the second building.
  • Building Near Abandoned Highway Camp:  Break through the blocked doors and look for things in the file cabinets and drawers inside.
  • Plaza Rosa Pharmacy: A pharmacy located just north of an extraction point. Go in through the breachable door and loot all floors, mainly lockers and containers.
  • Red Tower: The second floor has a small room with several lockers and occasionally a Security Breach locker.
  • Santa Maria Houses: Go in through the skylight roof hatches and open the drawers and lockers inside.
  • Space Travel Building: It’s a place that’s often at the point of conflict. The best spots to loot are the lockers on the ground floor and the drawers on the sixth floor.

In most instances, the maximum that players can fully loot is one or two locations because many places get empty too fast.

Tips to Increase Your Chances

  • Go in light or naked to move faster and secure a safe pocket
  • Ignore loose items and open every container instead
  • Repeat quick routes to increase total attempts
  • Surrender early after looting key spots and requeue

Night Raids are approximately one hour long, so doing the same runs is a good idea during the same time frame.

The Tempest Blueprint in ARC Raiders is all about Night Raids, container looting, and the process of repetition. There might be no surefire way but doing Buried City Night Raids and concentrating solely on drawers, lockers, and breach containers certainly increases the chances little by little within the given time period.

The blueprint will drop sooner or later, and when it does, Tempest will be an eternal crafting choice for the coming invasions.
