The Honor of Kings KWC 2025 is soon going to start, and this time it’s being held at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in July month. Previously, there was AWC, which many people saw as the global competition for the game, but it ended in 2022. Now, KWC seems to be replacing that and is also being joined with the Esports World Cup 2025.
Tournament Format and Schedule
Esports World Cup 2025 runs from July 8 to August 24 in Riyadh, hosting over 25 titles. Meanwhile, Honor of Kings World Cup 2025 takes place July 15–26 at Boulevard Riyadh City, featuring 18 teams and intense group, qualifier, and playoff stages, all as part of this global esports celebration.

This event has three stages and will run from 15th to 26th July.
- Group Stage (From July 15):
There are 4 groups with 4 teams each, and each match will be best-of-3. Only the group winners go to the Playoffs directly. Teams that finish second in the group will go into the next stage, called Last Chance. - Last Chance Stage (July 20):
In this part, 4 teams will fight in 2 matches, and the winners of both matches will go to the Playoffs. These matches will be best-of-5. - Playoffs (July 23 to 26):
In the final part of the tournament, KPL and ACL winners will join along with other qualifiers. Here, matches are best-of-7 and follow the Global Ban/Pick rule. The last round will have Ultimate Battle, which is the most exciting thing to watch.

All of them will go to groups and then fight to move to the next round.
Prize Pool and How to Watch
This tournament has a massive $3 million prize pool. The winning team will get the most amount, but the distribution has not been revealed yet.
You can catch the event live in Riyadh or stay home and watch via official streams. The matches will be live-streamed on Honor of Kings Esports’ official pages, like:

They will show all matches and maybe do some analysis or commentary also, like professional tournament style.
The KWC 2025 is looking like a massive success already before it even starts. With strong teams, high prize, and part of the Esports World Cup, this event is expected to change everything for Honor of Kings global scene.
