Honor of Kings is expanding its roster, welcoming its 90th hero, Augran, to the battlefield. Known for his agility and combat prowess, Augran is designed to excel in the jungle role, combining the traits of an assassin and a fighter.
While official details are pending, early information suggests that Augran will bring a new dimension to the game. His introduction is anticipated to influence strategic plays and provide players with fresh and exciting gameplay opportunities.
Augran Release Date
Initially released as “Da Siming” in China’s King of Glory earlier this year, Augran is set to join the global server on July 25. This marks him as the third hero debuting in July, following the releases of Yao and Loong.
Augran Abilities
Passive
Augran’s passive ability integrates with his basic attack, causing it to function differently from typical heroes. When activated, Augran’s weapon vibrates, delivering sustained damage to targets. The damage persists as long as the enemy remains within range, increasing the longer they stay. When maximum damage is dealt, the weapon resets its damage, starting again from the initial value. If the target moves out of range, the damage progression also resets. To optimize his damage potential, Augran benefits from prolonged engagements.
Skill 1: Path to Demise
Skill 1 enables Augran to create a destructive path toward a target, dealing damage upon impact. The ability gains unique functionality when it intersects with terrain, converting the path into a bridge to the afterlife. This bridge permits Augran to traverse any obstacle freely, providing a movement speed boon. At the path’s endpoint, a sword appears. Upon collecting the sword, Augran undergoes a temporary enhancement which amplifies his basic attacks. In this enhanced state, his basic attacks imprint a mark on the enemy’s health bar. If Augran exhausts the enemy’s health to this mark, the target is propelled upwards and suffers significant true damage. This skill is effective against both enemy heroes and jungle creatures.
Skill 2: Stealthy Blade
Skill 2 generates a damaging area that slows affected enemies. If targets are struck, they are marked, allowing Augran’s subsequent basic attack to inflict additional damage. This ability impacts multiple adversaries, marking them and causing Augran’s basic attack to distribute damage across all affected enemies. It also provides a health restoration effect while dealing damage. Moreover, if Skill 2’s path aligns with Skill 1, the latter’s animation accelerates. Using Skill 2 can therefore enhance the execution speed of Skill 1. When applied to jungle monsters, this skill incurs a knockback effect.
Ultimate: Sovereign of Spirits
Augran’s ultimate transports him from the sky, bestowing upon him enhanced supernatural power for eight seconds. In this enhanced state, he acquires a temporary shield. Upon landing, Augran inflicts knockback and damage to surrounding enemies. Striking an enemy hero summons a replica of the adversary’s spirit to aid Augran in combat. The number of spirits he conjures depends on how many enemies are hit by his ultimate. These spirits deal damage proportional to 30% of Augran’s physical attack strength. If Augran successfully eliminates an enemy during this period, the duration of his enhanced state extends slightly.
How to Obtain Augran
When Augran is released, he will be immediately available in the shop. The expected price for Augran is 13,888 Starstones, consistent with many other heroes. Some heroes, though, may be priced higher at 18,888 Starstones.
Players can look out for weekly discounts, which may reduce the cost. Another option to try Augran in matches is by using a Trial Card. Keep an eye out for more updates on Augran from reliable sources to stay informed.
