Here’s what we know about the FIFA 23 World Cup promo

After the end of the “Out of Position” promotion, EA Sports followed up with the release of the World Cup Warm-Up Series. A small promotion without a special team, but with a few small SBCs. Of course, the warm-up series serves to prepare the FIFA 23 players for the actual World Cup promotion.

The name of the main World Cup promo is not yet known, but EA Sports and some leakers have already published quite a lot of information. Starting today, you can play the new World Cup mode, so the promo won’t presumably take long to come.

According to the available information and leaks, the promotion will be active throughout the duration of the World Cup and will last for several weeks. It seems that FUT 23’s promo will be packed with unique content, as seen in the World Cup mode trailer, with five new card designs added to Ultimate Team. Reliable leaker @Fut_scoreboard used the game files to figure out what these cards mean.

This year’s promo should also get token swap objectives, however, the exact rewards are not yet known. What we do know is that each player will receive a limited number of World Cup players to complete the token swaps objectives for a limited timeframe.

World Cup Heroes & Icons

As many FIFA 23 fans probably already know, there will be special World Cup Heroes in the game this year, who will receive a large stat boost compared to their normal card.
