Henrique “HEN1” Teles will replace GODSENT’s Joo “felps” Vasconcellos in the ESL Pro League season 15. After a series of poor performances by the GODSENT, the team announced that “felps” will be out for the next couple of months and sort out his “personal issue” in Brazil.

GODSENT announced the benching of rifler João “felps” Vasconcellos. The team posted a video of felps talking about the reason why he stepped down to the roster and not with the team right now.
He cited personal and health issues as the reasons for his benching. After discussing it with the team manager Ricardo Sinigaglia, Felps and the team mutually came to this decision. He will be out for the next couple of months as he deals with personal issues in Brazil.

Since GODSENT signed Felps in January 2021, Felps has been one of the top-performing players in the Brazilian lineup. Felps had a severe 1.14 rating throughout his tenure in GODSENT, but numbers dropped to slightly above 1.02 in 2022 due to the team’s poor performance at the initial stage of major events over the last three months.

GODSENT has had a difficult time recently, with disappointing exits from the Pinnacle Winter Series 2 and the IEM Katowice Play-In stage. The team also lost both of its open qualifiers to TeamOne and ATK for the North American Regional Major Ranking (RMR) and did not qualify for the Antwerp Major Americas RMR either.

It came as a shock to the fans especially when the team attended the last CS:GO Major. Fans are hoping they will bounce back at ESL Pro League Season 15 despite the mid-season change.

‘HEN1’ joins GODSENT as temporary AWper

GODSENT did not take long to find a replacement for felp. The 26-year-old, Henrique has been looking for a new home since leaving FURIA Esports in January 2021. He joined the Brazilian squad as a free agent and he would be a temporary AWPer for GODSENT in the upcoming CS: GO events.

If GODSENT makes this as a permanent roster change and signs HEN1 as AWper of the team, then this would be the first swap for GODSENT since “TACO” and crew. If not, this still could be his finest chance to showcase his abilities and be noticed by a CS:GO team in need of a new AWPer.

The current GODSENT roster include Epitacio “TACO” de Melo, Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer, Bruno “latto” Rebelatto, Bruno “b4rtiN” Câmara, Olavo “chucky” Napoleão (coach), and João “felps” Vasconcellos (benched).

The roster will open their run in Dusseldorf, Germany, against Movistar Riders on March 23 and will compete against BIG, Team Liquid, and Party Astronauts in ESL Pro League Season 15’s Group C. The games will take place from March 23 to 27, with the top three clubs advancing to the playoffs.
