Because of his new role as head coach of BIG, the legendary German in-game leader gob b is turning his back on VALORANT and will focus on CS:GO again. Gob B is one of BIG’s founding members and will be coaching the CS:GO line-up from now on.

To make room for him, enkay J, the former head coach, had to leave. Gob b will try to polish the CS:GO line-up of BIG again properly and to give them a hand with his years of experience. German organization BIG recently announced that 34 year old Fatih “gob b” Dayik returned to the CS:GO team as their new coach.

New “old” coach gob b

Head of CS:GO at BIG, Roman “Roman R.” Reinhardt, said that gob b gave his all for his team at RMR, making a positive impact on the lineup: “Everyone could feel the energy and aura he brought to RMR, and he played a big role in our performance in Bucharest.” Former coach Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn has to go in return. How it will continue for enkay J is currently unknown.

So far, the ex-coach has also not commented on it and it is probably too early for new plans. Founding member, player, coach Gob b was one of the first faces and founding members of BIG. Over the years he has held various positions in the organization. First he played professionally for BIG himself, then later he coached the junior project Big Academy, and finally he oversaw the organization’s VALORANT lineup.

Gob b has definitely had an eventful career, or is still in the middle of it. He now returns to his great love CS:GO, the game with which he used to celebrate great successes. Fatih “gob b” Dayik said the following about his departure from VALORANT back to CS:GO.

“My journey in Valorant is over, I gave it my all and I am sure that our new team will be a strong competitor for the other VCT teams. It’s time to follow my heart and return to the game that made me the person I am today! Over the past few weeks, I’ve already had the opportunity to help our CS:GO team, especially at the RMR Major Qualifier. Even though I assisted Tobias “tow b” Herberhold in the beginning of 2020, it’s still something new for me to become a head coach. I’m not the type to just try things out: when I get involved, I do it 100%. I’m looking forward to working with the team and making my first appearance at the PGL Antwerp Major!”

BIG’S line-up looks like this:

  • Karim “Krimbo” Moussa
  • Josef “faveN” Baumann
  • Florian “syrsoN” Rische
  • Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz
  • Titian “tiziaN” Feldbusch
  • Fatih “gob b” Dayik (new coach)
