Genshin Impact has officially unveiled a new gameplay feature called UGC (User Generated Content), currently announced only for the China servers. The reveal came through the game’s official Bilibili account, where the developers also shared the first images of the mode. They noted that more previews and details will be released later, but for now, this remains a China-exclusive announcement with no confirmed timeline for a global rollout.

Players Can Build Stages and Different Kinds of Gameplay

UGC stands for User Generated Content, and it basically gives players the ability to create their own challenges or stages by using the assets already available in the game. Once created, these can be shared with other players so they can try them out themselves. The types of stages possible seem to be quite different in style; it could be simulation management, survival competitions, party game-style activities, or more adventure-focused gameplay. The stages can be played alone or together with others in multiplayer, depending on how they are designed.

Developers explained that part of the idea came from the Serenitea Pot system, but this UGC is much bigger in scope. Instead of only decorating spaces, now players will be able to build unique domains, design interactive challenges, and then either take part in them or explore what other creators have made.

Social Interaction Through Multiplayer Hubs

Along with the creative tools, the update will also add multiplayer social hubs where Travelers can gather between games. These spaces are designed for meeting other players, chatting, and maybe making new friends before jumping into different UGC stages together. The hubs aim to make the mode feel more connected and alive, giving a community space for those who enjoy custom content.

At present, Genshin Impact’s UGC mode is confirmed only for China, but the team did say more information will be revealed in future updates, which could include news about its global plans.
