Have you got Primogems ready? Genshin Impact will release The Daybreak Chronicles in Version 6.2 Phase 1 on December 3, 2025. You can only get this bow from the Epitome Invocation Weapon Banner, because it’s a limited 5-star weapon. It won’t appear in the standard banner or anywhere else.

If you set the Epitomized Path to this bow, you’ll earn a Fate Point whenever you pull a different 5-star weapon. This guarantees that your next 5-star is The Daybreak Chronicles. Keep this in mind before pulling—and good luck winning the 50/50!

Weapon Stats and Performance

The Daybreak Chronicles already has impressive Base Stats, with 674 Base ATK and a 44.1% CRIT DMG substat when it’s levelled up to 90. It has one of the highest damage ceilings for a 5-star bow in Genshin Impact. But what really makes it stand out is its passive ability, which gives even more damage boosts.

The bow’s passive skill makes it easy to boost your damage with the Stirring Dawn Breeze effect. If you haven’t been in combat for 3 seconds, you automatically get a 60% damage bonus to your Normal Attacks, Skills, and Bursts. When you go back in combat, this bonus slowly goes down by 10% per second until it reaches zero.

But as you hit enemies, the bow builds the bonus back up. Each time you land a Normal Attack, Skill, or Burst, the same type of damage gets +10%, stacking up to 60% again. This works even if the character is off-field, so you don’t have to stay on the field to keep the buff going.

There is also a special passive that unlocks when your team has the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect. Every hit will then increase all three damage types by 20%, which lets you stack damage extremely fast and deal huge burst damage.

Weapon Upgrade Materials

To level up the weapon all the way, you need three types of materials. You can get Dandelion Gladiator materials from the Cecilia Garden domain, Insignias from defeating Treasure Hoarders, and Horns from defeating Mitachurls.

These items are fairly easy to find, but the stronger versions of each material take time to collect. You’ll need to farm them several times if you want the bow to reach Level 90. Here’s the full list of how much you will need:

The bow is clearly designed for Venti, but other bow characters can also use it well because it gives a lot of CRIT DMG and boosts their damage the more they attack. Characters who hit enemies often or deal big burst damage can make the most out of this weapon. It becomes even stronger if they’re in a Hexerei team.

The passive also helps other sword characters like Ayaka, Alhaitham, Ayato, Jean, Keqing, Bennett, Clorinde, and Xingqiu—basically anyone who deals a lot of damage with their Elemental Burst. Albedo can also make use of the Hexerei bonus if his team has the Secret Rite effect, and his Burst works great in quickswap teams.
