How to Get Masterless Stella Fortuna

Getting Genshin Impact Masterless Stella Fortuna isn’t simple. The main way is through Wishes and character Constellations.

If you pull a duplicate of a character who is already maxed at C6, the game gives you a Masterless Stella Fortuna instead.
Some events, like To Temper Thyself and Journey Far, also reward character Stella Fortuna. If your character is already at C6, those will convert into the Masterless version.

Another bonus—HoYoverse confirmed that your past pulls counts. If you’ve ever summoned extra C6 characters in older banners, you’ll automatically get some Masterless Stella Fortuna after the update.

Why Level 100 Matters

Hitting level 100 gives your characters more base stats like HP, ATK, and DEF. The boost isn’t game-breaking, but it does make characters stronger for late-game content such as Spiral Abyss.

That said, weapons, artifacts, and talents still matter much more for damage and team strength. For most players, level 90 is still perfectly fine. Going to 100 is more for completionists or for fans who want to make their favorite character as strong as possible.

This system mainly benefits big spenders or “whales”, since only they are likely to own multiple C6 characters. Free-to-play players will find it harder to collect these items. Still, there’s some hope—event rewards may slowly hand them out over time, especially for older characters.

The Genshin Impact Masterless Stella Fortuna system arrives with Version 6.0 – Luna I on September 10, 2025. From then on, every character has the chance to reach level 100, if you have the resources.
