Genshin Impact Aino Abilities Leak: Full Skill Breakdown, Talents, and More

fragster James Steward 30. July 2025

A new Hydro unit is coming to Genshin Impact 6.0. Aino is a free 4-star Hydro Claymore character from Nod-Krai and is part of the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. She is the first Hydro Claymore user and is a support character that utilises the new Lunar Reaction system and has good scaling with Elemental Mastery.

Aino’s Full Ability Breakdown

Combat Abilities Overview

  • Normal Attack – Percussive Repair Method: Aino uses her claymore in a 3-hit combo. Her charged one spins then hits hard, and the plunging one has AoE Hydro damage. Even her normal hits provide Hydro uptime, meaning that reactions can occur more frequently.
  • Elemental Skill – Thought catcher: She throws a gadget out that pulls her to the selected location and then explodes, doing AoE Hydro damage. Holding the skill allows you to aim in a direction. The skill not only helps with repositioning but also triggers reactions. It could be useful for exploration as well.

  • Elemental Burst – Precision Water-Cooling Device: She calls in a machine duck that creates a zone and shoots Hydro projectiles at intervals. They scale with her Elemental Mastery, both how fast and how big the area is. Burst stays even when she’s not on the field, so she supports reaction teams nicely. This Burst gets better during Lunar Phase: Crescent or higher, tied to the Lunarity system coming in Version 6.0.

Passive Talents Overview

  • Modular High-Efficiency Operation: Makes her Burst better during Lunar Phase: Crescent or more. Also adds +1 team Lunarity when she’s in the party.
  • Structured Power Boost: 50% of her Elemental Mastery is turned into bonus damage for her Burst.

Constellations Overview

  • C1: +80 Elemental Mastery for 15s after Skill or Burst.
  • C2: Adds one more projectile from her Burst when she’s not on the field.
  • C3 & C5: Just increases the level of Burst and Skill.
  • C4: Restores 10 Energy when Skill hits a target.
  • C6: Boosts reaction damage by 15%, and it goes to 35% if it’s Lunar Phase: Crescent.

Note: All details are based on early leaks and are subject to change upon official release. Actual in-game content may differ in the final version.

Aino appears like a support unit specialising in Elemental Mastery and Hydro uptime. Her kit is designed to work in a reaction team comp in 6.0. F2P or chasing meta, she’ll likely be a solid option.
