Nvidia has released a GeForce Now app for Steam Deck, allowing the streaming service to be used on Valve’s PC handheld.
GeForce Now is a subscription service that allows users to stream their own PC games to other devices via Nvidia’s cloud servers. The official app for Steam Deck is now available, allowing Deck owners to play games directly on their handheld via the app.
According to Nvidia, GeForce Now games can be played on a television in up to 4K and 60 frames per second, including HDR10, Nvidia DLSS4, and Reflex. When games are streamed to the Steam Deck via GeForce Now, the handheld’s battery should also last up to 50% longer.
There are now more than 2,200 games supported by GeForce Now, including games on Steam, Epic Games Store, Battle.net, Xbox, and Ubisoft. New releases such as Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, Monster Hunter Wild, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are also available. More information can be found in this blog post.
