The closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 29 in North and South America have concluded, with GamerLegion and HEROIC claiming the final LAN spots from their respective regions. Both teams fought through grand final series held across April 12 to 15 to secure their place at the main event.

GamerLegion Sweep Amaru Flame 3-0 in North America

The North American grand final was one-sided from start to finish. GamerLegion dismantled Amaru Flame across all three maps without dropping a single game, posting scorelines of 35-10, 37-7, and 39-9 to complete a dominant sweep. The standout performer was carry Francis “RCY” Vandemere, who averaged 11.7 kills, 2.0 deaths, and 14.5 assists across the series with an average damage output of 29,100 — figures that reflected just how thoroughly GamerLegion controlled every stage of the match. Amaru Flame’s best individual showing came from their player K1, who averaged 24,300 net worth, but the gap between the two rosters was too wide to bridge.

HEROIC Grind Through a Five-Map Thriller in South America

The South American qualifier produced a far more contested series. HEROIC took a commanding 2-0 lead over South American Rejects, winning the first two maps 26-15 and 27-10, before the Rejects fought back to level the series by taking the third and fourth maps 38-11 and 42-34. HEROIC steadied themselves in the decider and closed it out 24-15 to advance 3-2.

Midlaner Santiago “TaiLung” Aguero Gustavo earned the series MVP, averaging 5.4 kills, 4.4 deaths, and 13.8 assists across the five maps with 31,300 average damage. Teammate Yuma led the squad in net worth at 32,600 per map, while the Rejects’ DarkMago was the highest-earning player on either side at 33,200 but could not carry his team over the line when it mattered.

Both GamerLegion and HEROIC now advance to the DreamLeague Season 29 LAN stage, joining previously qualified teams including REKONIX, Vici Gaming, BetBoom Team, and Team Liquid.
