We are just a few days away from the start of the Summer Split in the different LoL leagues worldwide, and, as always, the LPL will be the first to do so. However, this does not mean that teams are moving in the market to get the pieces they need to form a good lineup for the rest of the season.
Chen “GALA” We, a former MSI 2021 MVP, have been announced as the new AD Carry of LNG in this opportunity.
As we already know, LPL dominated the first international event of the season, MSI 2023, from start to finish, as the champion and runner-up were JD Gaming and Bilibili Gaming. As a result, the Chinese League of Legends league is expected to continue to be extremely competitive.
LNG announces GALA as a new player for the Summer Split
A few hours ago, LNG announced former MSI 2021 winner and MVP GALA as the team’s new AD Carry for the LPL Summer Split 2023.

This news marks GALA’s departure from RNG, his home for the last three years, where he had many successes and awards. As we mentioned, the player managed to win the MVP award at MSI 2021 and be the tournament champion. On the other hand, GALA was considered one of the best AD Carry in the LoL world scene.
However, in the LPL Spring Split 2023, RNG had an 8-8 record in the regular season, and then they were crushed by Bilibili Gaming in the first round of playoffs. As a result, the player decided to leave the team, searching for new opportunities.

It is worth noting that since 2020, GALA has not missed any of the Worlds that have been organized. Now, in this new star-studded and talented team, they have a good chance of qualifying for Worlds 2023.
A formidable LNG
Before the start of the 2023 season, LNG announced the signing of Lee “Scout” Ye-chan, a former EDG mid-laner who, in addition to being a Worlds champion, won the finals MVP award. On the other hand, since his beginnings in EDG in 2016, Scout has been considered one of the best mid laner in the world; this season, he has proved it.
In addition, LNG has a player who has caused a sensation in recent seasons, Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong, who has a very aggressive style of play and was one of the fundamental pillars for LNG to qualify for Worlds 2021.
Now, with GALA, Tarzan, and Scout, LNG has created a true three-headed beast that, in addition to talent, has the experience and, above all, wins blood. There is no doubt that the main goal of this team is to qualify for Worlds 2023, but this will not be an easy mission considering the high level currently in the LPL.
