The group stage of LEC Spring Split is over and G2, Rogue, Fnatic, and Misfit will move to playoffs. Rogue dominated the group stages and remained at the top position in the points table. Fnatic remains in 2nd position and will face Excel esports in their last match of the group stage.

Misfit finished this round in third position and G2 in 4th. The fight for first place has been fierce between team Fnatic and Rogue esports, and it will continue until the final match of the group round.

Rogue can secure the first position if they thrash team G2 in the last match of the group stage. The conditions for Fnatic to secure the top position are they must win against Excel Esports and Rogue must lose against G2.

G2 vs Vitality, G2 secured a top 4 position in a nail-biting match.

G2 Esports thrashed Vitality in the LEC Spring Split 2022 regular season. The team claimed another victory after battling it out with team Vitality in a deciding 40-minute game.

It was a crucial game for both of the teams and a direct battle for the 4th position and a direct ticket to playoffs. Vitality had to win the match against G2 to lock in a spot at the playoffs, but G2 had a different plan in mind.

G2 started dominating the game from the early stage, claiming first blood. Despite the domination and kill advantage, Vitality had the gold lead and had held it for nearly 15 minutes.

BrokenBlade with its solo kill and Jankos with its excellent Jungling path changed the course of the game and G2 quickly covered the gap. Both teams took one tower each, G2 in the bot lane and Vitality in the top. Vitality tried to regain vision control but G2’s slow push and consistent poking pushed Vitality back even further. At the 35-minute mark, Vitality was behind by 6,000 gold and six kills.

The enemy Nexus’ towers were approached by BrokenBlade and his super minions. Vitality had no choice but to reply, launching a team fight that saw Alphari emerge as the final man standing to defend the Nexus. The team secured a much-needed victory which rewarded them with a spot in the top four of the Spring Split Playoffs.

Excel esports and Vitality failed to secure a top 4 spot, but

Excel esports failed to end their run in the top 4 positions but they still have a chance to continue their journey in the tournament. The team managed to secure the 5th position in the group stage and will move forward in the first round of loser bracket playoffs.

Team vitality secured 6th position in the points table and will meet Excel esports in the first round. It won’t be easy for both of the teams to climb the ladder. There will be top bracket teams falling directly into the loser bracket each round.

It would be exciting to see how these teams perform in the upcoming matches, considering it’s the first phase of LEC and still a start of a new season.
