Fall Guys has taken the Esports world by storm, with the Mediatonic-developed battle royale game currently being at the centre of a tug of war between G2, Ninja and Mr Beast, who have all entered the $300,000 bidding war for the latest branded skin. Custom skins are being created by artists for Fall Guys at a fairly rapid rate, including gaming giants Konami.

With the demand for such skins being great, Fall Guys developers Mediatonic and publishers Developer Digital are looking to take full advantage, initiating a battle between some of the biggest names in Esports, in order to bring themed skins into the game in the name of charity. Running for just two weeks, the highest bidder will work alongside Mediatonic in creating a branded skin, with popular YouTuber Mr Beast having placed a bid of $300,000, surpassing AimLab in the process.

Who Else is in the Race?

The highest donation after the 14-day period will go to a charity named Special Effect, who work with those with physical disabilities, aiming to achieve fun and inclusion through video games. European Esports organisation G2 bid some $130,000 in order to get a Samurai skin in the game, which put them in the lead at one point, however Tyler “Ninja” Blevins took the bidding to $200,000 shortly after, gazumping the likes of BisectHosting, The Sidemen and Trainwrecks, who had all led the way at some stage.

How High Will the Bidding Get?

Over a week still remains for organisations and personalities to get involved, with there being no signs of the bidding slowing down currently. With Mr Beast having surpassed AimLab’s $210,068 offer by almost $90,000, the appeal of a unique Fall Guys skin is proving to be far greater than many could have imagined. While Mr Beast has not yet disclosed the skin that he has in mind, choosing to direct message the relevant account instead, skins relating a Silverback Gorilla, Jelly Beans and blocky-themes costume have all been put forward to date. Be sure to keep a close eye on the Fall Guys twitter page, who post regular updates surrounding new bids, with the competition set to run until August 31.
