One of the most popular content creators in the Rocket League scene, Athena, has joined Luminosity Gaming’s talent lineup, joining other streamers such as xQc and Huskerrs.
The organization has announced through its official Twitter account that they introduce Alejandra “Athena” as a new talent team member.
We do not doubt that this girl has been in constant growth since her beginnings in Rocket League in 2017.

About Athena
If you are a Rocket League lover, you probably know who Athena is, as she is one of the most popular female streamers on Twitch.
She currently has more than 500,000 followers on her account, where she usually streams Rocket League games. She also has more than 200,000 followers on YouTube, where she makes the same content and collaborates with other streamers and their music videos.
Athena’s beginnings in the streaming world
As mentioned, Athena has been famous for broadcasting Rocket League since 2017. Over the next two years, she managed to capture up to 150,000 followers on Twitch, which originated the interest of the famous organization G2 Esports.
Athena spent two years as an active part of the G2 Esports team, in which she managed to experience a spectacular boom in her career.
Then, in March 2021, she ended her journey with G2 Esports and signed a contract with Team Envy in August of the same year.
By that time, Athena was joining the talented team that included the famous Botez sisters and Rebeca “JustaMinx.”
After a year, and just as Team Envy was transitioning to OpTic Gaming, Athena parted ways with the organization in July 2022 and has since been without a team and broadcasting almost daily.
Music and Athena
You may have read the above and were taken aback when we mentioned that Athena has an incredible musical talent.
Well, we’ll tell you that she does, and it’s not just any talent. Athena is the first Rocket League content creator who has been able to include her songs in the game itself.
But how is that?
Athena has a spectacular voice and can project each of her songs well. So the Rocket League developers took the opportunity to include them in the video game.
In August 2021, Athenas released her first song called Eternal, which was the musical background for the main menu of Rocket League Season 3. While this impressed her a lot, it wasn’t all for her.
And the fact is that, a year later, she released a second song called Moment, which caused a great furor in all her Rocket League-loving fans, so much so that it became the central theme of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2021-22 World Champions.
In other words, she is the Shakira of Rocket League.
