The Spring leg of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2025 Southeast Asia finally finished on June 15, ending with Indonesia’s ONIC Olympus grabbing the win. The team put on a strong display across the Grand Finals, earning the top spot and qualifying for the Esports World Cup 2025. Alongside them, seven other teams from the region will also be heading to Riyadh next month to battle on the global stage.

ONIC Olympus Secures First Place with Commanding Performance

It was ONIC Olympus who reached the 80-point win condition first, doing so in the ninth match and wrapping up the competition under the Champion Rush format. With their overall performance remaining steady throughout, they walked away as SEA champions and earned $100,000 in prize money. CrimeMKS stood out in most of the games and was named FMVP thanks to his heavy impact in key rounds.

Thailand’s Buriram United had the highest overall score but couldn’t seal the championship. Even though they were on top in the final standings, the team failed to win a match after passing the 80-point limit, which was necessary for the title under this year’s rules. Still, their consistent run through the event puts them as one of the strongest teams to watch at the World Cup.

Bigetron Esports also came into the finals with high energy. The Indonesian squad grabbed three Booyahs during their nine games, showing strong round-to-round form. But they couldn’t convert those wins into a tournament victory. Nevertheless, their performance makes them one of the more dangerous teams going into the next stage in Riyadh.
