Fragster is official BLAST.tv Paris Major German broadcast partner

Finally, we can make it public! Fragster has become the official German broadcast partner for the BLAST.tv Paris Major! The last CS:GO Major ever will also be our first Major and we are so hyped!

Previously, 99Damage was the German broadcast for CS:GO Majors, but since their cooperation with BLAST had long ended, BLAST decided to pick a new partner to broadcast the Major to the German audience.

Of course, it would be a shame if there hadn’t been a German broadcast at all, and so we were faced with a difficult decision. Broadcasting a big tournament like the Major is a huge challenge for our small and young team, but we have gained valuable experience from broadcasting the BLAST Premier Series, as well as other Tier 1 and Tier 2 tournaments.

In fact, it came down to this: Either we do it, or there is no German broadcast at all. And having absolutely no German coverage for the last CS:GO Major would have been just tragic, so we decided to accept the challenge and the project to tackle!

German CS:GO scene is weakening

As you know, the German scene is weak right now, so we wanted to avoid another nail in the coffin and give the remaining passionate CS:GO fans in Germany a base. We have thought of some ambitious things and are currently working on their implementation.

Of course, you will see some familiar faces from our previous cast again, but we want to get away from the old-fashioned “ARD style” and design the entire transmission differently.

As we mentioned, this will be a huge challenge, but definitely a doable one thanks to our team! We’re really looking forward to the Major and hope that many of you will tune in, so that we can show again how strong the German scene really is!

Studio broadcast for the final stages

We don’t just cast online from home, we already have a studio at hand that will implement the studio transmission together with us. Moreover, we will be in the studio starting from the Challenger Stage in order to offer you the best possible entertainment.

In addition to our BLAST Premier broadcasts, the Champion of Champions Tour, and our in-house Fragster CS:GO League, this is our next big commitment to the German scene.

We’ll be able to let off steam in the studio and produce more than two weeks of hard work, so stay tuned, because this Major will definitely be different!
