Fragster announces teams for CCT West Europe Series #2 Playoffs

The Group Stage of the CCT West Europe Series #2 is coming to an end, and with it, the eight teams that have performed the best throughout the tournament have earned their well-deserved playoff berths. As a result, 16 teams will compete in the playoffs for a share of the $50,000 prize pool.

The group stage left us with exciting results, and some teams have reaffirmed their status as favorites in this tournament. For example, the reigning CCT West Europe Series #1 champions, Spirit Academy, qualified for the playoffs after winning all three of their matches in the Upper Bracket.

CCT West Europe Series #2 Playoff – Invited teams

The eight teams that qualified through the group stage will have to measure their strength against some of the best teams in West Europe, which were invited directly to the tournament playoffs.

The eight teams that received the direct invitation are as follows:

• Apeks
• iNation Esports
• CPH Flames
• BIG
• 500
• Sangal
• Godsent
• Monte

As we can see, we have top-rated teams currently competing at the highest level in the CS:GO scenes, such as CPH Flames, BIG, and Godsent. In addition, we can also highlight that the rest of the teams have a good pace of play and promise to give us a lot of emotions during the CCT West Europe Series #2 Playoffs.

Format & Schedule

The CCT West Europe – Online Series #2 Playoffs will be played in a single elimination format, starting next Monday, March 20, at 11:00 CET. We will have intense actions and emotions in this online tournament for four days until the grand final match is played next Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 18:30 CET.

In the playoffs, four daily matches will be played starting, as we mentioned, at 11:00 CET and ending with the last one at 20:00 CET. On the fourth and last day of the playoffs, where we will decide the Champion of the CCT West Europe – Online Series #2 will have the following schedule:

March 23

• 12:30 CET: Semi-final #1
• 15:30 CET: Semifinal #2
• 18:30x CET: Grand Final

Advancing teams

So far, five teams have already booked their ticket to the playoffs from the group stage, and during the day (March 17), the last three spots will be defined through round five or Elimination Match.
