Fragster announces groups of CCT West Europe Play-ins

We are happy to (finally!) announce the groups of the Champion of Champions Tour West Europe Series 1 Play-ins! After a long wait and two open Qualifiers we are ready to bring you all four groups for the Play-in stage of the CCT West Europe Series 1!

The tournament will start on Wednesday, the 25.01.2023 and will feature many up and coming teams from all over Europe. While the open Qualifier is still going on as we speak, the invited teams are already fixed! Without further ado, here we are:

Group A:

• ENCE Academy
• Dripmen
• Viperio
• Mixfits

Group B:

• Nexus
• Coalesce
• NtK
• Epic Dudes

Group C:

• Alternate aTTaX
• Zero Tenacity
• Mixteam
• undefined (it’s their name)

Group D:

• EC Brugge
• GTZ
• JANO
• Open Qualifier Team 4

As you can see there are some established teams, like Alternate aTTaX, EC Brugge, ENCE Academy and many more. But the best part is that a lot of other teams from west europe had the chance to qualify through the open qualifiers!

The Champion of Champions Tour is now in full swing, as West Europe was the last region to get started, planning went on through christmas and new years eve break, even though the players were chilling, our admins were hard at work

When does the CCT West Europe start?

The first games will start on Wednesday the 25.01.2023 at 11:30 CET, we will have simultaneous matches for the first day to kick things off. Here is the schedule:

Stream A:

• 25.01.2023 – 11:30: ENCE Academy vs OQ Team 1 (Group A opener)
• 25.01.2023 – 14:30: Dripmen vs Viperio (Group A opener 2)
• 25.01.2023 – 17:30: Group A Final

Stream B:

• 25.01.2023 – 12:30: Nexus vs OQ Team 2 (Group B opener)
• 25.01.2023 – 15:30: Coalesce vs NtK (Group B opener 2)
• 25.01.2023 – 18:30: Group B Final

Group A and B will conclude the following day and on the 27th of January we will see Group C and D enter the fray! At the end we will see all the teams that made it out of groups head into the Decider-Stage where the four spots in the CCT West Europe Series 1 Group Stage will be determined. For sure a hectic week with many matches!

Of course the Champion of Champions Tour is a huge chance for the Teams and by gaining points throughout the matches and the following series they can climb the world ranking and also earn themselves a spot in the Studio LAN later on in the season. Every single online series consists of a Play-in-Stage, a Groupstage and Playoffs. Each of them offers a prizepool of $50.000! And the Studio LAN goes one step further with a whopping $100.000 on the table.
