Fragster announces CCT West Europe Series #3 Play-ins line-up

A few days after Monte claimed the CCT West Europe Series #2 trophy, we have another exciting announcement to make! The third edition of the Champion of Champions Tour West Europe is about to begin, and the team line-up is complete!

As in Series 1 and 2, the CCT WE EU Series #3 will boast a prize pool of $50,000. So far, two different teams have won the CCT title, but who’s next? Will either of them be able to defend the title? Nobody knows, but what we do know is that you should expect plenty of  CS:GO action!

As usual, we start with the Play-In phase, set to run between March 29 – April 2, where 16 teams will fight for the four slots available in the following Group Stage. Let’s find out which teams kick off their CCT West Europe Series #3 run in the Play-In phase!

Participating teams & Format

In CCT West Europe Series #3, 16 squads divided into four groups of four teams will face each other in a classic GLS format followed by a single-elimination bracket. The four best teams will then advance to the Group Stage phase.

Here are the teams that will participate in the Play-In Phase of the CCT West Europe Series #3:

The top eight of these 16 teams (top two from each group) will qualify for the Play-In deciders to be played on April 2, when the four best teams from this phase will claim their ticket to the Group Stage of the CCT WEU Series #3, set to run between April 20 – 28.

Participating teams also earn points towards world rankings, increasing their chances to advance to the LAN finals.

Schedule

Groups A and B will play their matches on the first two days of the Play-In phase, i.e., next Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28. After that, groups C and D will do the same on Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1.

These matches mark the start of a new edition of the Western European CCT circuit. There is no doubt that expectations are much higher than in previous tournaments, so we invite you not to miss a single second of the series!
