Once you activate Daphne’s Luggage quest, you will have to find the bags in four minutes or less. So get your speed and your brain ready because this mission will be on both fronts. Let’s get down to business so you can complete the quest with a few minutes left on the clock and redeem the XP for yourself.

Daphne’s Luggage Quest is one of the fun limited-time challenges available as part of the Fortnitemares 2025 event in Fortnite. Players are rewarded with 10,000 XP for completing this quest, making it a target worth pursuing for leveling up.

Additional Fortnitemares 2025 Quest Overview

Apart from the main task of finding Daphne’s luggage, participants will come across an assortment of challenges in Fortnitemares 2025. These quests are divided into 3 parts: Tricks, Treats, and Found Quests.

The Found Quests require participants to help some of the characters from the Scooby-Doo collaboration. Particularly, the tasks in Found Quests will either replicate characters’ beloved quirks or will contribute to the narrative aspect of the characters in play.

How to Start Daphne’s Luggage Quest

To kick off Daphne’s Luggage Quest in Fortnitemares, drop down at the revamped Viney Shafts area on the western side of the Fortnite island, previously known as Shiny Shafts. Your focus should be on the northern area of Viney Shafts, right near the first “S” in the word “Shafts” on your map. This is where you’ll find Daphne by a large investigation board.

Just walk up to her and choose the “Need help?” dialogue option from the wheel. That will activate the hidden “Found Quest,” which counts down a four-minute timer to find her stolen luggage before the timer runs out.

To optimize for time, the best way is to complete the quest immediately after speaking with Daphne and take mobility enhancements going up the Cliff

Where to Find Daphne’s Lost Luggage

After you activate the quest, you’ll want to head southwest from Viney Shafts toward the cliff that overlooks the area to the north of Outlaw Oasis. The quest marker will pop up on the map, so you can follow it to the luggage site.

At the top of the cliff, referred to as Mothman’s campsite, you will find an RV, a campfire, and a suspicious-looking pile of luggage. Approaching the luggage will automatically complete the “Find Daphne’s luggage step” without having to pick anything up.

Interrogating the Thief (Mothman)

Once the players are close to the luggage, they will finally find the Mothman himself at the campsite. Confronting the Mothman to ask questions about the theft ends the quest.

During this interrogation, the Mothman explains to the players that he took the luggage not because he was malicious. Rather, he just wanted to participate in the thrill of the mystery, rather than to be the mystery.
