Zero Hour is the next big live event in Fortnite, it is an in-game cinematic ending made by Epic Games that closes out Chapter 6 and starts Chapter 7. These chapter-ending events are the quintessential parts of Fortnite’s cycle, giving players a one-time story moment that changes the island and moves the game’s narrative forward.
What Is the Fortnite Zero Hour Event?
Zero Hour is conceived as a real-time event where all players are at the same point to see an ending of the story unfold. Changes to the map, battles across universes, characters, and stories that link months of updates are what happened in the previous events.

Videos and rumors indicate that Zero Hour will be one of the most jumbled crossovers of Fortnite ever featuring a fight between Godzilla and King Kong, a giant Homer Simpson, and well-known vehicles such as the DeLorean and the Mystery Machine.
Additionally, this incident calls back the huge squid that was hinted at in the finale of the last season. Some of the unofficial animations reveal that a huge Homer is coming out of the water and spitting a Zero Point piece toward the island, this is probably the way of the new chapter getting started.

- Log in early, around 30–45 minutes before the event.
- Update the game since the event depends on the latest patch.
- Go to the Events or Discover tab and pick the event playlist.
- Expect downtime right after the event, as Fortnite usually goes offline to set up the next chapter.
Zero Hour is planned to include:
- Multiple collaborations, with rumors suggesting as many as 25 franchise tie-ins
- An enormously stupid moment of Homer Simpson that could cause the Zero Point change
- Character arc with the Seven, the Zero Point, and the origin of the island
- A complete transition to Chapter 7, either with a new map or significant changes to the existing one
For those who have been playing for a long time, Zero Hour is the finale of the story of Chapter 6. For newcomers, it serves as a nice starting point as Fortnite restarts, the map changes, and the community is sharing a great moment together.
