Fortnite’s collaboration with The Simpsons has produced a number of themed challenges around Springfield, one of which includes a puzzle at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. The task can only be completed once it becomes active after your match has started, and it will reward you with valuable loot upon completion. When the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant puzzle Activates

The puzzle does not automatically begin once you land. It typically does not activate until the player count drops to approximately 30 players. Once activated, you’ll see warning lights flashing, and you’ll be able to interact with a console inside the power plant. When you interact with the console, you will begin the objective to stop a meltdown.

Interacting with the Console

The console has three big buttons: Eenie, Meenie, and Minie. Your objective is to press each button once in the correct order. The challenge is, the correct order will be a different order each match; the solutions are not meant to be remembered.

Finding the Solution

To identify the correct order, players must search for yellow instruction posters located throughout the nuclear plant. These posters list a specific set of colors and shapes that represent the three buttons at the console.

Eenie corresponds to the orange rectangle.
Meenie corresponds to the yellow segment.
Minie corresponds to the blue L-shaped block.

By matching the sequences of colors from the poster to the aforementioned indicators, flash the sequence of buttons. For example, if the poster has orange → blue → yellow, the correct input will be Eenie, Minie, and then Meenie.

Completing the Puzzle

Now that you have identified the correct sequence:

Step 1: Head back to the console.
Step 2: Press each button in the order identified.

If you completed all the steps correctly, the meltdown will be stopped, and a loot reward will be released.

Rewards

Completing the puzzle rewards players with a drop of high-value items, which often includes powerful weapons or healing equipment. Hence, this activity is a helpful objective multiple times throughout a competitive match.
