Fortnite: How to hunt a frog from 5 meters away

Fortnite features a great variety of wildlife. As you play, you will encounter many creatures, such as chickens and frogs that you can hunt for rewards. 

Previously, Fortnite featured a weekly mission that involved a chicken or a hen, but this week, they are related to frogs.

What is it like to hunt a frog from 5 meters or less in Fortnite?

As a part of this week’s Fortnite challenges, you will need to use your weapons and skills to find, track, and hunt down a frog that is five meters from you.

You can find this challenge in weekly challenges listed under “Hunt, a frog from five meters or less.” When you complete the challenge, you will earn 16K XP.

Naturally, these are found in or near the water. Some of the best places to find one nearby and complete the challenge are:

• River Banks of Anvil Square
• The Atumnwood
• Pleasant Passage
• Hitches and Ditches

After you have found the frog, you need to shoot it from a distance of five meters or less.

How to hunt a frog from 5 meters or less in Fortnite?

To complete this challenge successfully, these are the steps to follow:

• Search and locate the frog, run towards it and manage to keep a close distance. You must remember that they move very fast, so you also must run fast to be able to catch them.
• Once you are five meters away from the frog, you can use your gun to shoot it down.
• In some cases, it is not necessary to aim directly at the frog; shoot close to it, and you will be able to catch it.
• If you don’t manage to catch the frog in one shot, you must weaken it until you complete the challenge.
• To complete the task more efficiently, find a way to corner the frog against a wall, stone, or river.

It is important to remember that finding frogs is entirely random. You can walk along the same spot several times without seeing any frogs until you find one. It’s also good to keep in mind that hunting frogs exposes you to enemies.

This mission is relatively easy to complete and can give you decent rewards if you do it correctly. However, you must finish the challenge within the time limit, as weekly missions are no longer cumulative in Fortnite.
