Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is live

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3: Vibin’ is finally here, with the newest Battle Pass bringing plenty of additions to the game, including Indiana Jones and Darth Vader, wildlife riding, and even Ballers will return.  

The latest Fortnite season named Vibin‘ has turned the Fortnite island into one big party packed with good vibes. Along with the party, a few changes have come to the map, including the new location — Reality Falls. 

Reality Falls 

Reality Falls is a new area featuring a phosphorescent biome of purple trees and bouncy mushrooms, waterfalls, geysers and caves filled with loot, all surrounding the forest’s main element — the Reality Tree. 

To earn special or even Mythic loot, players can plant Reality Seeds found in Reality Pods spawned by the Reality Tree. Once planted, a Reality Sapling will grow from the seed, which will bear loot with each weeding. The sapling grows from game to game, giving better loot each time until bearing Mythic loot. 

Ballers 

Ballers — the hamster balls with a suction cup in the front — return this season in an upgraded version. Besides boosted Health, Ballers now run on battery power and can float on water. If a hamster ball isn’t to the player’s taste, they can also hop on the back of a boar or wolf to ride across the map, without the need to dismount in order to shoot from the animal’s back. 

Storm Sickness 

Despite the Fortnite island having a big party, the Storm is not slowing down, quite the opposite. If players stand in the Storm for too long during a match, they will get a Storm Sickness, which will negatively impact their Health. Curing the Storm Sickness is simple — just exit the storm. However, the effect of the Storm is cumulative, which means the Sickness will return immediately after entering the Storm again. 

Weapons, characters and skins

Of course, the new season will also bring new weapons, as well as returners. 

The trio of newly added weapons include the Two-Shot Shotgun, Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) and Hammer Assault Rifle, while the returning fan-favourite weapons include Revolver, the Sidearm Pistol, Stinger and Combat SMGs, Grenade, Firefly Jar, Heavy Sniper Rifle, the Harpoon Hun and more. Plus, the Cow Catcher and the Repair Tool utility items from the previous season are also back. 

Darth Vader is the final piece of the current Battle Pass and later Indiana Jones will also be added to the pass. Players can also acquire Evie, Snap, Stormfarer, Sabina, Adira and Malik skins.
