Fortnite- Chapter 2 Season 8 Will End with Event Titled “The End”

Epic Game’s popular Battle Royale game Fortnite is ending its Chapter 2 Season 8 on December 4th, and it’ll be ending with a bang. As expected, Fortnite would be ending the season with an in-game event. This season finale event titled “The End” will set players on a quest to win a battle that will determine the fate of the island.

What this entails, is that by the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 3, players may have to play on an entirely new map. If you’ve been following Fortnite over the years, you would recall that during the end of Chapter one, Fortnite also hosted an event like this, where players fought for the original island, but it all ended up destroyed because of a black hole.

Chapter 2 Season 8 comes to an End

In the end, a new island and map had to be introduced for the Chapter 2 of the battle royale game. Prior to the introduction of the new island, players were kept in the dark, as the game went offline for a few days and returned with chapter 2 with an all new map. This chapter’s finale event is slated to take place on December 4, and just like what happened in the previous season, we believe that the Fortnite game may pause for some days while we wait for the debut of Chapter 3.

This assertion, however, is just speculation. We do not yet have any concrete information from Epic Games on what’s next for the game. It is expected that Fortnite chapter 3 will come with new characters and some other changes that will impact the game play.

All we know about Fortnite Chapter 2 “The End”

Some months ago, the cubes, under the control of the Cube Queen, started gathering at the center of the island, forming “The Convergence.” Now that the convergence has been completely formed, the Queen is set to achieve her main goal, which is to send every living thing on the island to extinction, and rain doomsday on the entire island.

“The End” provides one last opportunity for all players to grab their weapon and wage a fiery war against this ultimate destroyer of all reality. Who knows, maybe they would be able to save the precious island. On a blogpost announcing the in-game event, the Fortnite team urged fans to join “The End,” and battle to the finish to earn themselves a legacy. This event will allow players to form squaqs of up to 16 players. So you can team up with your friends all over the world to create a formidable squad.

If you want to be a part of “The End,” you must log in early. According to the blog post, the event’s playlist will be made public 30 minutes before the start of the event. So players can jump in at this time and become a part of a squad. The date is December 4, 2021, and the event kickstarts by 4 pm ET. Join in this grand adventure and stand a chance to unlock a brand new loading screen and wrap-in-game for daring to challenge the Cube Queen.
