After the last update of Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Reloaded, different errors have appeared in the game in different game modes, but in multiplayer mode have been the most consistent and disturbing.

Camo Reset error

One of these bugs that have caused the most concern to the player community has to do directly with weapon camouflages. After the update, some players noticed that their gold, Platinum, and Polyatomic weapon camouflage progress had disappeared.

This caused a lot of concern for these players since, as we all know, having these camouflages means hours and hours of hard work using each weapon.

According to different reports, players had no progress on Polyatomic weapons despite having several Platinum camos, which provide progress for camouflage.

While this is frustrating for all those players who love to unlock all the weapon camouflages, there are a few solutions to get everything back to normal.

How to fix the error

Unlock new camos

One solution that has worked for many people in the COD community has been to keep improving their camos.

Well, the moment you unlock a new camouflage on any weapon, be it Gold, Platinum, or Polyatomic, the progress you had before this bug will return, so if this works for you, we are deeply happy for you!

For example, if you complete any of the basic challenges to unlock any gold camo on any weapon, all your progress will return for gold and any other mastery camo. This works the same way for Platinum and Polyatomic.

Don’t panic if it seems that all your camos are locked, as you can ignore this fact and keep completing the challenges to have your camouflages reappear.

This solution applies especially to the Chimera, which has had some problems in its relaunch.

However, if you get 25 long-range shots for the platinum camouflage, the challenge will be completed, even if it is not marking progress.

Restart or reinstall the game

Some players commented that the solution, in their particular cases, was to restart the game.

On the other hand, a somewhat more powerful solution that has helped bring some players’ weapon camouflages back to normal is to reinstall the game.

However, these methods are not as reliable as the above. Therefore, we recommend you try to unlock your camouflages before uninstalling the game, and do not waste time on this tedious solution.

Error Actuality

Similarly, many users have reported in recent days that they have managed to solve this problem using one of the methods explained above.

But, if you are one of those who are experiencing this problem and have not found the solution, I invite you to try what we have just mentioned recovering all the camos of your weapons.
