G2 Esports have added another player to its Fortnite: Battle Royale roster, with Smqcked having joined the organization. As one of the leading players in North America East, Smqcked joins the likes of Coop and LeTsHe on the impressive G2 Fortnite lineup.

Having been voted as “Esports Organization of the Year” by fans of late, G2 Esports are continuing to add talent to its ranks, with a specific emphasis having clearly been placed upon Fortnite. Founder and CEO Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez also recently announced the signing of four-time Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Finalist Jahq.

Five-time FNCS Finalist Smqcked joins the trio at G2, with the American having an impressive record in competitive Fortnite. Playing for Built By Gamers from November 2019 to May 2020, Smqcked recently finished in third place at the Frosty Frenzy Session 3 – NA East, alongside Casqer and DEMONKNOWN.

In order to announce the arrival of Smqcked, G2 produced a comedic video, lasting just over one minute. The video gives fans a glimpse of some of Smqcked’s skills, including his sniper shots. It is believed that LeTsHe and Niko played a major role in the arrival of Smqcked, with the duo having been impressed by his performances over recent months. Along with his five FNCS Grand Final appearances in just two years, Smqcked also has man other achievements to his name. Teaming up with LeTsHe, Coop and Jahq, the arrival of Smqcked gives G2 Esports one of the best Fortnite rosters on paper.

What SMQCKED Has Achieved in Competitive Fortnite to Date

Smqcked qualified for the FNCS Grand Finals in Season X, Chapter 2 – Season 1, Invitational, Chapter 2 – Season 3 and Chapter 2 – Season 4, however his best showing came during Chapter 2 – Season 1, where he earned a fifth place finish, earning $37,500 with his teammates. The American just missed out on a place at the Fortnite World Cup, however it will undoubtedly not be long until he reaches the biggest stage of the scene.

It remains to be seen as to what Ocelote and G2 have planned next in terms of Fortnite, however the arrival of Smqcked demonstrates that they are keen to continue their growth in this area, adding to their title as the world’s leading Esports organization.
