Given the success of the battle royale game from Mediatonic, it perhaps comes as no surprise that the first Fall Guys Esports roster has been announced, coming from the Panda Global organisation.

Having followed through on plans to branch out from the fighting game community of late, Panda Global are now looking to make a serious impact within Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, a game which has exploded over recent months.
Fall Guys has attracted millions of gamers since its launch earlier this month, while streaming platforms including Twitch and YouTube have seen interest rise significantly also. Fall Guys is now the third most popular game on Twitch, having peaked at over 600,000 viewers on more than one occasion, with an average audience of almost 140,000.

Who Will Feature on the Panda Global Fall Guys Roster?

Having teased a potential announcement on their social media platforms just 24 hours prior, Panda Global made the news of their new Fall Guys roster official on Tuesday. The roster features players who were already sponsored by the organisation, which is a smart move given how much experience they have together, having operated as a group since the game was launched on August 3.

The biggest name on the Panda Global Fall Guys roster is Zak “CONEY” Zeeks, who has made his name up till now as a Super Smash Bros pro, a commentator and a streamer. The veteran had been named as the team captain, having recently come out on top in the first ever official Fall Guys tournament, where he represented Team Pogging Polygons, alongside the likes of Deezus, Minecraft Matthew and Alpharad.

CONEY is now ranked at No.6 in the Fall Guys player rankings, while he will be joined by another well-known Super Smash Bros player in Marss, along with Aether player FullStream and director of logistics Jaaahsh. The trio will fulfil the roles of Wildcard, Specialist and support respectively. However, popular figure Wolfey failed to make the grade following his loss at Jump Club, which will have undoubtedly been a disappointment for the former Pokemon world champion and leading streamer.

How Will Fall Guys Esports Events Work?

The format of Fall Guys means that it remains uncertain as to just how the game will work in Esports. However, the battle royal game will form the basis for the Twitch Rivals tournament scheduled at the end of August, which will see 10 teams going head to head. Previous Fall Guy events have centered around which team can claim the most crowns in 90 minutes.
