It’s been a while since FIFA 23 dropped and you’ve probably played a few games already. If you are struggling with FIFA Ultimate Team or just want to get even better, then the following FIFA 23 Ultimate Team guide is for you!

Just like a real manager, in FUT you face a difficult decision: which line-up do I choose for my team? Of course, this depends on several aspects. For example, there’s no point in playing a 3-5-2 formation if you don’t have good attacking wingers who can take crosses.

Analysis like a real manager

If you have a team that’s chock full of good attackers, you should take advantage of that and use a 4-3-2-1 formation. Look at the players available to you and analyze their strengths and weaknesses.

While in career mode you can sign up all the players you want, in FUT you also need to consider the chemistry between your players to increase the chances of success. In FIFA 23, the chemistry system works differently than in previous FIFA games. In our article on FIFA Ultimate Team chemistry, we explain what’s changed this year.

Despite the switch to the chemistry system, it is still very important to use players in the right positions. When the chemistry is right, your team plays better and you’re already ahead. So don’t just buy any player you like, but make sure he’s also good for team chemistry.

Improve Forward first

Of course, you need a good lineup for any position, but once you’ve laid the foundations of your team, it makes sense to get some top attackers first. Unlike in real life, a FIFA game ends 3-2 rather than 0-0 or 1-1. Scoring goals is pretty easy whether you have good defenders or not.

If you’re looking for a good striker, speed is extremely important. That’s been the case in FIFA for years, and FIFA 23 is no different. Top Forwards and Wingers with a lot of speed do the most damage and are therefore worth the most.

Division Rivals and Squad Battles

Playing Division Rivals and Squad Battles is the best way to get a group of players. Depending on your performance, you will reach a higher division and a higher rank. The higher the rank, the better packs you get.

We also recommend staying away from FUT Draft mode. In this game mode, you can build a team with the best players in the world, which is of course great fun, but actually involves more risks than rewards. So you better stay away from it, at least if you really want to improve.

One last tip to ensure you’re well prepared for your next adventure in FIFA Ultimate Team: the Squad Building Challenges are very useful when you are looking for the best cards in FIFA 23. It is advisable to complete the SBCs, especially in the first months of a new FIFA game, as it is a simple but effective way to build a strong team without spending too much money.
