BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 has come to an end, with six of the finest CS:GO teams qualifying for Fall Finals.

FaZe Clan, G2, and Ninjas in Pyjamas came out victorious in the Last Chance bracket, securing their spots at the Fall Finals, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

To make their way to the Fall Finals, Astralis, Team Vitality, and Heroic will compete in the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022 alongside BIG, Evil Geniuses, and Complexity Gaming. But before that, here’s the recap of the Fall Groups Last Chance matches.

FaZe Clan dodged the bullet against Astralis

FaZe have earned their place in the BLAST Premier Fall Final after surviving the thrilling best-of-three series against Astralis in the Last Chance Stage. FaZe managed to avoid the disaster, though they seemed to be drifting a little off course throughout the competition, losing two crucial matches to Heroic and OG early on.

Having lost the first map Inferno against FaZe 9-16, Astralis rallied with a 19-16 overtime victory on their own map pick Ancient to level the series at 1-1. As soon as FaZe arrived at Nuke, they swiftly steamrolled the Danish team, winning 16-10 with Helvijs “broky” Saukants providing a finishing touch with a brilliant 1v4 ace clutch.

Despite Benjamin “blameF” Bremer’s outstanding performance under pressure, the Danes were unable to neutralize the dangerous tandem by broky and Håvard “rain” Nygaard. The Latvian Awper, broky recorded a K/D score of 71/55 with an impressive HLTV rating of 1.23 throughout the three maps, with multiple clutches showcasing his precise cross-hair placement and amazing fragging skills.

G2’s vengeance wiped out Vitality

G2 advanced to the BLAST Premier Fall Final following their redeeming victory over Vitality in the Last Chance bracket. G2 came out on top with a nail-biting 16-14 finish on their own map pick Vertigo. With staggering 31 kills and a K/D of 1.8, Danish rifler Emil “Magisk” Reif led Team Vitality’s comeback attempt, boosting the team to win 16-13 on Dust2.

G2 recovered on the decisive map Mirage, edging out a 16-19 victory to clinch the best-of-three series. With 75 monstrous kills, G2’s Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov won his first MVP award at a Tier 1 Tournament, overshadowing the heroic performance of French superstar Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, which ended with a K/D score of 75/53.

Ninjas in Pyjamas take down Heroic

Taking advantage of the IGL Hampus “hampus” Poser’s fragging potential, NIP defeated Heroic 2-1 to advance to the Fall Final. Showing their commanding performance on Inferno, the Swedish team won the opening game of the series by a narrow margin of 16-14. Capitalizing on IGL Casper “cadiaN” Miller’s stellar performance, Heroic made a great comeback on second Mirage. The Danish IGL led the team to a 16-9 comeback victory with an impressive K/D score of 22/13.

As they stepped up their game in the final and decisive map Overpass, NIP completely annihilated Heroic despite their dismal history on the map. With this victory, the Swedish team clinched the sixth spot at the Fall Finals, forcing Heroic to contend for a spot at Blast Premier Showdown.
