Tournament Format Breakdown

The PMWC 2025 follows a three-stage format. The Group Stage happens from July 25 to 27. There’s 24 teams split into 3 groups of 8. Across 3 days, 6 matches are played each day, making 18 matches’ total. Each team gets to play 12 matches.

After this stage ends, the top 8 teams by total points will move straight into the Grand Finals. The other 16 go to the Survival Stage, happening July 29 and 30. From there, only 8 of them will make it through to the Finals. The rest get knocked out. The Grand Finals will be held August 1 to 3. 16 teams will play 18 matches across 3 days. On Day 3, the special “Smash Rule” will be used, changing up how things finish.

With Day 2 now done, everyone’s attention turns to Day 3 (Sunday, 27 July 2025). 6 matches are lined up, played across Sanhok, Erangel and Miramar. Teams will be pushing for a top-8 finish to lock their spot in the Grand Finals.
