With LOCK//IN, Riot Games will introduce new cosmetics for the upcoming VALORANT Champions launch event. Most fans are excited about the possibility that the game will include skins based on esports teams; this way, they can finally show their affection for their favorite VALORANT teams.

Additionally, Riot has said that a specific portion of the revenue from these skins goes to support VCT partner teams. Regarding tournament-based skins, VALORANT has shown its generosity in the past. The community significantly loves and praises the Champions 2021 and 2022 packages. A similar approach will be taken with the LOCK/IN capsule.

How much can the LOCK//IN capsule cost?

So far, Riot Games has not disclosed the cost of this new capsule, but it may be among the most expensive aspect levels available. This may be striking, considering how expensive previous VCT-based aspect lines were. We can estimate the value of the LOCK/IN capsule to be between 5,100 and 6,265 VP, or even more.

It is important to remember that the capsule’s price has not been officially confirmed. So all fans must wait until Riot publishes the price, or otherwise goes on sale.

What items are in the LOCK//IN capsule?

Three unique items are included in the LOCK/IN capsule, which helps fans express their love and support for the esports scene. Over the past two years, the VCT ecosystem has expanded considerably. Through all of its cute cosmetics, Riot Games has also generously given something back to the community.

This new capsule incorporates the following items:

• Misericordia Knife (Three variants)
• VCT LOCK//IN Player Cards (Three items)
• VCT LOCK//IN Spray

Most of the items above will allow players to express their regional pride in various ways. However, the Mercy knife is the most eye-catching item in the capsule due to its three variants.

• Green: VCT America
• Blue: VCT Pacific
• Purple: VCT EMEA
• Red: VALORANT Champions Tour

According to their color variations, the three LOCK/IN cards equally represent three different regions as the knife. Last but not least, the capsule contains a spray that features an animated version of Raze, a Duelist agent.

When will the LOCK//IN capsule be available?

Riot Games has officially stated the capsule will be released on February 8, 2023. However, fans get a sneak preview a few days before the LOCK/IN competition begins and can get the capsule in advance through the in-game store.

In addition, Riot Games has let it be known that, from February 8 to March 7, 50% of the net proceeds from this collection will be split among all VCT partner teams.

In the same way, exclusive sets, such as the Champions pack, do not return to the in-game store or the Night Market. On the other hand, players will only be able to purchase one LOCK/IN capsule pack.

Beginning of VALORANT VCT LOCK/IN

VALORANT’s VCT LOCK/IN is scheduled to begin on February 13, 2023. At 9:00 a.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. CET / 10:30 p.m. IST.

All fans can watch their favorite team’s game on Twitch and YouTube through VCT’s official accounts. In addition, for an even more fun experience, they can connect to their favorite streamer’s watch party.
