Everything you need to know about the CDL 2023 Major II Qualifiers

The Call of Duty League is gearing up for its 2023 Major II qualifiers, and gamers worldwide are preparing to battle it out in this global competition.

This Major event will be an opportunity for some of the best and brightest minds in gaming to show off their skills and compete against each other on a grand stage.

Heading into the CDL 2023 Major II Qualifiers, the headlines are dominated, without question, by the departure of Brandon “Dashy” Otell from the OpTic Texas roster and the inclusion of Cuyler “Huke” Garland in his place.

Call of Duty League

The Call of Duty League (CDL) was founded in 2020 as a professional esports league dedicated to showcasing the best players in the world competing against each other in tournaments held throughout the year.

Players qualify for these tournaments through regional qualifiers or by being invited directly by a league team. The winners receive points toward qualification for the Major II tournament, which will be held in 2023.

Qualifiers Overview

The CDL 2023 Major II Qualifiers begin on January 13, after a three-week break. First, remember that the first Major I Qualifiers were played in December 2022, specifically from 2 to 14. In this tournament, the New York Subliners took an unexpected victory over the Seattle Surge with a 4-1.

The next CDL Major will be played from February 2 to 5, 2023, for which teams will have to qualify through qualifying matches.

Some teams, such as OpTic Texas, L.A. Guerrillas, and London Royals Ravens, have restructured their respective squads to achieve better qualification.
