  • The mode mixes ideas from Call of Duty Zombies and the Marvel Zombies, combining survival gameplay with dark story elements.

Marvel Rivals PvE Mode is coming soon giving you a new way to play beyond its traditional hero battles. Arriving with the Halloween update, Marvel Zombies Mode brings survival action as heroes fight endless waves of terrifying undead enemies. This is the first cooperative mode in Marvel Rivals, allowing you to fight together instead of against each other.

NetEase confirmed that the Marvel Rivals Zombie Mode will launch globally on October 23, 2025 (UTC). This mode is part of the Season 4.5 update that also adds the Midnight Mayhem event and special Halloween skins. Unlike regular matches, this limited time mode sets heroes against a lot of zombies instead of rival teams.

You can explore the new map Empire of Eternal Night Midtown where you need to survive as long as possible. Each wave becomes tougher, introducing faster and more aggressive zombies as the fight continues.

Other than ordinary zombies, there will also be two major rivals waiting for you in the new mode. You must first defeat Zombie Namor, then followed by Scarlet Witch, known as the Queen of the Dead. Zombie Namor’s skill is using strong area attacks that push you back, while Scarlet Witch overpowers enemies with dark magic. Both enemies demand quick reactions and teamwork to survive their powerful attacks and complete the mission successfully.

Gameplay and Mechanics

The gameplay focuses on stamina, teamwork, and strategic use of hero abilities to survive longer and defeat stronger enemies. Here, you have more health around 2200 points so you can survive longer battles. You will see Midtown having eerie lighting and horror themed visuals making it a haunting warzone.

Fighting here feels quick and intense, with zombies approaching from every direction. Squad should protect each other, manage cooldowns, and use your powers efficiently to stay alive. Switching from competitive PvP to this PvE setup brings a refreshing break from standard matches.
