Beyond the trip to Portugal, CCT Global Finals 2026 welcomes a new partnership between Grid and New Breed Agency. This marks a turning point for the Tier 2 Counter-Strike community as the collaboration seeks to connect online and offline circuits. It will bridge GRID’s online CCT circuit with the offline Parken Challenger Championship.

This will create a comprehensive pathway for teams to progress from online qualifiers to LAN events. With this partnership, they aim to raise standards and provide opportunities for Tier 2 CS players. Moreover, the PCC circuit will feature 17 LAN events across the 2026 calendar with a combined prize pool of €185,000. 

They will hold the first PCC LAN from February 22 to February 24, 2026, in Copenhagen. Meanwhile, the stadium finals at Parken itself for a meaningful ending to the upcoming season.

Qualification Path and Team Selection

Out of the eight spots, six teams are directly invited based on their March’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS) for Europe. This method emphasizes teams’ consistency instead of a single tournament result. It ensures the most deserving teams will earn their place at the CCT Global Finals 2026.

Meanwhile, the remaining two positions are up for grabs as wildcard slots in the PCC LAN events. Teams that win the first two Parken Challenger Championship LAN events automatically secure spots at Global Finals. With this wildcard system, squads will have chances to break through via LAN performance and allow dark horses to compete.

Prize Distribution and Revenue Sharing

There are more prizes besides the initial $75,000 prize pool of CCT Global Finals 2026. They will distribute an additional $75,000 through the event’s Club Share program and player revenue-sharing initiatives. This will bring the total prize distribution of the tournament to $150,000. 

An approximately $44,000 of the base prize pool will go toward the Club Share program. With this, CCT can provide support for organizations alongside individual competitors.
