The Esports Awards heralds its tenth anniversary in 2025, and is going big to commemorate the achievement. As part of the festivities, this year features The Decade Awards, a special edition to recognise the most impactful players, teams, games and personalities who have shaped the esports industry over the past decade. Rather than awarding people for only the past year like in the past, this year will look back on the entire decade, and reward the legends who have shaped the scene with impact and consistency.
Voting Time and Event Details
Set to take place on August 10 and 11 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the event will be hosted as part of the Esports World Cup’s “Summer of Celebration.” Unlike the traditional annual format, this year’s awards will take a broader look back, recognising the legends whose long-term impact, consistency, and contributions have shaped competitive gaming into what it is today.
People can now vote for who they think deserves the decade honours.
- Voting opened: June 13, 2025.
- Voting ends: August 11, 2025.
- How to vote: Visit the Esports Awards website and submit choices.
The show is gonna be streamed: On YouTube and Twitch at 5 PM EST / 10 PM BST / 11 PM CEST. Also, this year, Oakley is back as the Eyewear Partner, and Esports Awards partnered with Esports World Cup for this milestone event.
