Esports Awards 2023: Dates, location and award categories

Get ready for the ultimate celebration of the Esports industry! The highly anticipated Esports Awards 2023 is set to take place in Las Vegas, honoring the very best in various categories.

Initially announced in 2016, this event has become a prime destination for Esports recognition. Furthermore, the Esports Awards will offer networking opportunities and bring back the popular Lifetime Achievement Mixer in addition to the main award ceremony. This event will provide a platform for organizations and industry leaders to connect, discuss, and network with each other.

When and Where Esports Awards 2023 will take place?

As mentioned, Esports Awards 2023 will occur on Resorts World in Las Vegas. Mark your calendars for November 29th and 30th, as the highly anticipated final awards ceremony of the Esports Awards will take place. The organizers have announced exciting changes to the format. Alongside the Esports Awards ceremony, Las Vegas will host the very first Scholars event on November 28th. Organized by the same team behind the Esports Awards, Scholars is an awards ceremony dedicated to collegiate gaming.

Nomination format

The Esports Awards 2023 is introducing a new self-nomination format. B2B professionals and selected media publications from the esports industry can now participate. Nominees can submit extra information to support their nomination. Winners will have the opportunity to receive the prestigious esports award in front of millions of viewers worldwide. Nominations are open from June 1st to July 7th and can be submitted by companies, publishers, brands, organizations, and talented individuals.

Important dates

The Voting for the above categories will take place from July 26 better say just a few days after the first nominees reveal. The period between November 13-20 will be known as the turbo voting period. During this period any single vote will carry double worth. The voting process will follow the exact same pattern as last year and will conclude just a few days before the award ceremony. Keep an eye on Fragster for more updates in the future.

The 2022 edition saw a big breaking viewer ship at 20 million. Furthermore, 10 million votes were cast during that time.
