The Western European Qualifier for The International 13 is over and Entity emerged as the winners. This victory will give them the opportunity to compete in the most prestigious event of the season and battle against the best Dota 2 teams in the world.
This region’s qualifier featured a lot of strong teams and it was very hard to predict who would win. The list included Tundra Esports, Entity, OG, Team Secret, MOUZ, PSG Quest, and Nigma Galaxy. With only two available spots, everyone tried to play their best Dota ever.

Entity had tough opponents from the start. In their first match, they encountered PSG Quest and nearly lost. All three games were difficult and the first one was won by Quest, whose Weaver plus Enigma combination proved to be lethal.
In games 2 and 3, Entity picked Storm Spirit, Centaur, and Grimstroke. They even took the Weaver and the Enigma for themselves. These heroes allowed them to impose a different kind of tempo and that brought them victory in the long run. Game 2 lasted 46 minutes. Game 3 needed almost 62 to conclude.
Following this narrow victory, Entity had another tough match, this time against the two-time TI champions OG. Once again, game 1 was lost. OG picked Chaos Knight, Ember Spirit, and other heroes that combo well with them. Thanks to this synergy, the game was very easy to win.
In games 2 and 3, Entity picked Storm Spirit and they simply destroyed OG with him. Ceb was not able to compete and had to be replaced by Immersion. As a result, the team’s cohesion and morale suffered and the battle was lost.
Just one more victory would bring Entity their desired TI13 invitation. But the opponent was Tundra Esports.
Entity started well this time, with a victory facilitated by their Doom, Enigma, and Chaos Knight picks. In game 2, however, the situation was completely different. Tundra’s draft was extremely greedy but somehow they made it work.
The fate of the match was decided in game 3. Tundra picked standard heroes like Storm Spirit, Weaver, and Vengeful Spirit. Entity decided to pick Bane, Void Spirit, and Morphling.
At first, it felt as though they wanted to lose or challenge themselves by intentionally picking nerfed heroes. But when the game started, it quickly became obvious that they had a good plan.
The game was won in just 33 minutes and Entity became the first team in the tournament to qualify for The International 2024.
