With the player break in the full swing, new line-ups are being built again the CS:GO world. While ENCE put hades on the bench, Fnatic signed former ECSTATIC player FASHR.

Olek “hades” Miskiewicz has been placed on the inactive roster following more than a year with ENCE. The Polish player joined the Finnish organization on a temporary basis in May last year, replacing Aleksi “allu” Jalli. However, because of his consistently good performances, he was later given a permanent contract.

ENCE bids farewell to hades

With hades in the roster, ENCE won multiple lower-tier tournaments, including the Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Playoffs 1 or Pinnacle Fall Series #3. Later on, ENCE also signed Pavle “Maden” Bošković and the team experienced a boom like never before. However, in 2022, things got rocky again and ENCE couldn’t shine at any of the big tournaments. As always, when things go badly, the organization decided to part ways with some players and hades hit it this time.

The official statement from ENCE stated that hades is now free to explore his option. Furthermore, the organization we will be fielding a new AWPer for the upcoming tournament season, who will be announced at a later date.

ENCE coach Eetu “sAw” Saha, commented:

“It’s always hard when changes are being made. Benching hades is a tough decision, but one that I think needs to be made at this time. Hades showed good progress and development as a player but for the direction we are going for, we need a change. We have had a lot of great moments and we reached many of our goals during our time together. It was a pleasure to have hades in the team, and I wish nothing but the best for him!”

Fnatic completes lineup

Another recent roster move in the CS:GO scene was made by Fnatic, which has added 26-year-old Dion “FASHR” Derksen to its lineup. Prior to joining Fnatic, the Dutch pro played for almost a year for ECSTATIC. The team has now lost two players in one week — the other being Thomas “birdfromsky” Due-Frederiksen.

With FASHR, the Fnatic line-up is complete again. The team struggled since the decision to reshape the team and bench Alex “ALEX” McMeekin and Valentin “Poizon” Vasilev last year. Later, they  brought in Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi and Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen from the Copenhagen Flames. The new line-up will make their debut in the Major Qualifiers, which start on August 15.

FASHR is looking forward to the new start at Fnatic:

“I feel honoured and humbled to be wearing the iconic Black and Orange. I’m confident that together with my new teammates we are able to achieve great things. We’re aiming to build a new, lasting dynasty with this team.”
