After the first round is complete, the quarterfinals will happen on June 16 and 17 to decide which eight teams advance to the next round. Afterward, the semifinals take place on June 18 and 19. And finally, the final on June 21 features the two advancing teams from the semifinals. Ultimately, the last two teams left competing will battle to be crowned champions and share a prize pool of €60,000.
Bracket Overview
Following the group stage, the playoff stage features 16 teams that compete in a single-elimination bracket. In contrast, this is quite different from the group stage, where 32 teams were divided into 8 groups of 4. Moreover, each match in the playoff stage is a best-of-five (BO5) series. Consequently, this aspect of the tournament format requires more consistency from teams, as only one loss means elimination from the tournament. And so, this is a huge step up in intensity compared to best-of-three games done in the group stage.
