With hype for EA FC 26 reaching full steam and franchise fans buzzing over closed beta leaks circulating on social media, EA Sports has officially begun its annual process of inviting a limited player base to test the game before launch.
How to Join the EA FC 26 Closed Beta
Based on leaks, EA FC 26 closed beta is going to run from August 8 to August 26, 2025. This testing period lets players try out gameplay changes, test features, and give feedback that might affect the final version.
If you trying to get into EA FC 26 early, here’s how to do it:
- Go to EA’s website.
- Sign in with an EA account.
- Go to Account Settings
- Then Communication Preferences.
- Tick the box to get emails for EA games and updates.
Doing this doesn’t confirm a code, though. EA sends out limited codes, and not everyone gets in. Selection depends on stuff like platform, past activity, and region.

Beta codes should start going out around August 4, 2025. Check your inbox, and don’t forget spam or promo tabs if you signed up for emails.
What’s New in EA FC 26?
EA FC 26 will emphasize gameplay changes and new features based on feedback from EA FC 25. Full-scale patch notes have not been released yet, but currently there are patched leaks and preview releases covering new skill moves, improved controls, and advances made to Career-mode and Manager mode.
Even if you are not chosen, no worries. EA and other streamers will post new gameplay and tutorials all through August, giving players access to see what changes are happening.
Closed beta is an opportunity to not only play EA FC 26 ahead of release, but to give feedback, and look at early changes. If you’re interested, register and toggle opt in, maybe you will be selected.
