Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition announced

Aspyr has announced Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, PC), which is set to be released in Europe on 07/15/25.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition returns to the world of the Forgotten Realms as a remastered re-release of a classic role-playing game. Based on the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 rulebook, players experience a complex story of power, morality, and the impending end of Faerûn.

At the center of it all is the bearer of a mysterious shard—an artifact of enormous importance that not only attracts a dark threat, but has the power to change the fate of the entire world.

The Enhanced Edition combines the main game with all expansions: Mask of the Betrayer, Storm of Zehir, and Mysteries of Westgate. Each campaign adds new facets and challenges to the narrative. As players uncover dark mysteries in the Shadow Realm or battle new enemies in a wild jungle region, the lore of Faerûn deepens noticeably. Decisions have a significant impact on the course of the story.

The game has been extensively modernized: improved textures, optimized camera work, revised controls, and full controller support ensure a more enjoyable gaming experience.
