The tournament is making a serious statement: Season 7 brings a live audience, VRS invitations and a prize pool that puts Draculan firmly on the competitive map.
From $15,000 to $150,000 – A Statement of Intent
The organizers of Draculan have officially announced the seventh season of the tournament – and the numbers demand attention. Season 6 ran with a $15,000 prize pool. Season 7 launches with $150,000. A tenfold increase is not an incremental step, it is a deliberate signal that Draculan is no longer operating as a regional side event but is actively positioning itself in the second tier of competitive CS2.
Bucharest, Live Audience and VRS Invitations
The event returns to Bucharest, Romania, running from June 23rd to June 28th, 2026. For the first time in the tournament’s history, it will be held in front of a live audience – a change that fundamentally shifts the atmosphere and stakes compared to previous online editions. Ticket sale information has not yet been announced but will follow at a later date. The participant field will be assembled through VRS invitations, bringing globally ranked teams into the mix and adding further legitimacy to the event.
Season 6 Is Still Running
While Season 7 is already making headlines, Season 6 has not yet concluded. The final match between Monte and M80 is still to be played, with the winner taking home $7,500 and the runner-up $3,750. Those numbers make the jump to Season 7’s prize pool even more striking – and underline just how significant the leap in ambition actually is.
