After a long wait, Dota 2 patch 7.32 has finally arrived. And the changes are both numerous and major. This patch is guaranteed to redefine the game and its meta. IceFrog has made a lot of teams happy, although I’m sure that some will be extremely sad.

Dota 2 patch 7.32 forces players to reconsider their approach to the game and even the roles of heroes like Centaur Warrunner. But what about other heroes? And, most importantly, are there any OP heroes in this patch?

Two OP heroes of Dota 2 patch 7.32

While it is still too early to talk about the most OP heroes of this patch, it is not hard to predict the most likely candidates. Because they have been buffed significantly despite the fact that they were already strong in Dota 2 patch 7.31.

The first OP hero that must be mentioned is Templar Assassin. At the most recent Dota 2 tournaments, his hero was picked numerous times and the win rate was always above 50%. TA had everything she needed to be a strong hero in Dota 2 patch 7.31. But IceFrog decided to make her even stronger.

Dota 2 patch 7.32 gave TA three powerful buffs that will make her a lot stronger in the laning phase and nearly unkillable throughout the rest of the game.

  • The mana cost of refraction has been reduced for the first three levels, which now require 85/90/95 mana instead of 100. Level four stayed the same.
  • Her main level 10 talent was changed from +20 attack speed to +25 Refraction damage. This means that Refraction now deals 110 bonus damage at level four.
  • Her main level 15 talent was changed from +20% evasion to Refraction can be cast while disabled. This is totally overpowered.

Luckily, only a small percentage of Dota 2 players know how to play Templar Assassin. But those who do will have a huge advantage over the rest.

The second OP hero of Dota 2 patch 7.32 is likely going to be Sven. His base HP regen has been increased by 0.5, the duration of his Warcry got buffed by one second and costs less mana (45 at level four instead of 60), and his ultimate has a 95s cooldown at level three instead of 110s. This means that Sven is out of God mode for just 60 seconds.

This hero was hard to deal with in Dota 2 patch 7.31. Now he’s a menace and can farm extremely fast.

Apart from these two heroes, there are many others that might need to be nerfed in subsequent updates. It remains to be seen what Dota 7 patch 7.32a will bring.
