- There’s a new type of creep called a Flagbearer. Killing it gives you and your team extra gold.
- The Dire side of the map has changed, with new jungle paths and building positions.
- The small camps near the middle lane are gone.
- It’s harder to kill the big creeps (ancients) now.
- You get less gold over time, but you get more for destroying enemy towers.
Other Stuff
- You can use your fountain’s protection right after respawning.
- The way you get extra experience for killing lots of enemies in a row has changed.
- There are some other smaller changes to the game.
New Items
Dota 2’s latest patch didn’t just change heroes but it also features a bunch of your favorite items!
- Some items got stronger, like Bloodstone which is cheaper now and heals you more. Others, like Refresher Orb, got a bit weaker with a longer cooldown.
- A big change is how items like Mask of Madness and Vladmir’s Offering work. They now heal you when you hit creeps, not just heroes.
New Neutral Item
Dota 2 has some brand new neutral items to play around with!
- There are three new starting items: Seeds of Serenity to heal your team, Lance of Pursuit to chase down enemies, and Occult Bracelet to give you extra mana.
- Some old items like Ocean Heart and Keen Optic are gone, but don’t worry, there are new ones to replace them. You can now buy an item called Eye of the Vizier for more cast range, or Specialist’s Array to shoot extra arrows.
